EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

I am a constructivist professor, not an instructivist. I am a knowledge facilitator not a knowledge dispenser. Students are the central part of the learning educational process. It is my belief that students are capable of developing a high level of communication skills that reflect their knowledge and professionalism as good learners. Cooperative learning and teamwork create a good learning environment that may enhance their communication skills. The way students communicate their thoughts and ideas is appreciated and respected by other classmates and the instructor if it maintains a good level of communication. Mutual respect and understanding between classmates and the instructor are key factors that determine the student's communication level.
